Well, we had a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Around noon we met Hannah and Linda at the movies to see The Blind Side. It was a wonderful, heart-warming story. We all loved it. Then in the early evening Mom & Dad came over for the feast. It was delicious and went down (too) easy. :) A little later some friends (The Weems) came over and we had fun playing games, visiting and eating some more.
On Friday Katie, Linda, Hannah, Brittany and I went to the Nutcracker Ballet at the Performing Arts Center. It's been a tradition for Katie and I for years now and we love it. It's always such a great way to kick off the holiday season. After the ballet Katie, Brittany and I stayed and took in the festivities at the Town Square. This included Christmas choirs, a Santa skit (Jared, a friend of the girls, was in the skit), the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree, and real reindeer you could pet. But first we waited for the fun to begin by catching a bite and a yummy mocha at The Kobuk, a cute little shop nearby. Once we were back home we had a nice meal with Katie's friend, Jacob, joining us. Then Brittany headed home and Katie, Jacob and Keaton went sledding. So, we are enjoying this holiday weekend to the fullest. So much to be thankful for! Hope yours is filled with joy too!

Sounds and looks like a great day! I have never been the Nutcracker - maybe one of these days. Love you, Bonnie
