This is a quilt I have always enjoyed. Mom passed it down to me from her mom's (she was "Grandma Nana" to me) side of the family. It was completely hand pieced and quilted! I like to use it in the Autumn because of the wonderful orange coloring. Right now it is adding extra warmth on top of our bed.
This antique quilt is over 100 years old! My dear friend, Kathy K., knowing that I loved quilts recued it from her friend that didn't want it anymore and she gave it to me. Isn't it special!
This wonderful block is from a special quilt that KayLynn and her sis, LeeAnn, made for us for a wedding gift. We used it on our bed for many years. It was made with love and I love it!I hope you enjoy admiring these beautiful pieces of history and art. I have a number of store bought quilts as well, but these are the ones that I cherish.

Oh my stars!!! Those are such treasures. I know how much work was in them and at a time when women quilters didn't use a lot of short cuts that we use now. Wonderful collection!!!
