A Night to Remember...

Hi Friends,

Last night was a special night for Katie and I. We went to "Chick Church" (as my dear friend Tammy Z. calls it) at ChangePoint. This event is four times a year and it includes dinner, fun openers on stage, worship by an excellent and beautiful team of women (with a male band named Guydance - think guidance), a great message, and fun fellowship. There are usually about 500 ladies that attend. This was the last RefresHer (the real name) of the season and they planned a special welcome for the young ladies ages 16-18. It was so cool. Each girl wore a formal and they got to do a fun fashion show in the fellowship hall before RefresHer started. Then about 10 minutes into the main event each girl was escorted to the stage to receive their welcome and our pledge of support (as older women). They each received a red rose and a gift bag with nifty RefresHer themed items. It was really sweet and Katie looked so beautiful. I was a very proud mama for sure.

Enjoy these pics and have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Jax

It's all about the hair isn't it?

Hi Girls, Thanks for your sweet comments. And yes Penni. It is definitely all about the hair. Once the gown is purchased of course. Thankfully she already had the gown for an upcoming Father-Daughter Ball at church. :)
